Well, we lost a tough one on Tuesday night to one of our arch rivals the Luck Dragons by a score of 5-4. It was all tied up going into the bottom of the 7th when Brian "Happy Feet" Brokaw got up and hit a home run. Had the LDs not lulled our left fielder to sleep, it surely would have been a caught ball, but instead it kissed off the top of the Chris' glove and the rest is history. Oh well, the game didn't really matter either way for us as it is coming down to next week for the championship.
Speaking of next week, it looks like Jess and I are going to miss the big game. I wish you guys the best against the Hippies and hope that you guys can manage a victory and some fleeces for our team. There is a slim chance we will make the game, but I won't know until Tuesday at about 7 p.m. so don't count on it.

What do you mean you are going to miss the game? That is not allowed!!!!!!!!!! Sucks must be at full strength, come on. Is Marlboro running a 2 for 1 special from 7-8:30 PM on that night only? Is the Nattie Ice distributor in town? This is the championship we (I selfishly mean the Hippies) have been waiting for. A game, at the end of the season, that actually counts and that we actually need to win. Two starters from the opposing team can't not be there. NOT ALLOWED!!! I think this is all a Matt mind game. You'll be there and you know it!
Happy Feet? Are you saying that I run, or waddle, like a penguin? Either way, I hope you guys can somehow make it back tomorrow night. I think we're far more excited to watch your game than to play ours. Good luck to the both of yous.
